Well done Nick, excellent work.
Congratulations on the new baby.
We made a really good progress last night, now all basic operations are fixed. Controller could initialize H701 and send all major commands (volume, fader, balance, sub. level, presets). It could be operated externally in any terminal program. In next few days I'll put prototype board in my car to fine tune the firmware.
I also wrote draft design document for this project, it's available here:

Well done Nick, excellent work.
Congratulations on the new baby.
You both deserve many beers!!!!! Congrats to you both for an amazing job... This is how the world should work hahaha :-) and indeed congrats on the new bub!
To all: feel free to post comments and ideas about design document

I'd like to know what could be improved.
P. S. I found out that H701 sends AiNet packets even when operated via RUX. It's possible to recognize when presets are switched on RUX and change other settings as well. How about selecting specific input for each preset? It might be valuable as input selection on RUX is very inconvenient.
Boing Boing Boing!! Bumperoo! Any more devolopment? :-) cheers guys
Yep, I installed prototype board in my car last night. Some firmware polishing still needed to make it finally work. Hope to fix it on weekend and update shortly.
Fantastic!! :-)
Great news!
I'v also read the doc you linked to. I've got a single remark: would it be possible to have a 'set volume' command, wich sets absolute volume?
I guess i can alway take a look at the firmware when it's released
Cheers, Marc
