Thread: how to tweak soundcard?

i have seen some of you have tweak your soundcard with bigger/better condensators and maybe other components, and i want to try that too...

but i don't know where to start... i have an old Soundblaster live! soundcard with analog and digital output and want to try and tweak that soundcard, just for fun...
how do i know which codensators to switch and which size i need?

and will it only make the card louder or would it sound better too?
