What kind of XM receiver u have? Have you tried the Digital Input on the 2NX?
Good day all !
I have a question and hope that some one may help me to resolve it. I did a search but can not find anything what may explain my problem. Please help.
Here it is:
I am using Sound Blaster Audigy NX2 USB card in my setup. My amplifier in the vehicle is analog one and I am using separate Front Out from SB to front speakers, Rear Out from SB to rear speakers and Sub Out from SB to my Sub's amplifier. Whenever I paly MP3 music I can hear sound thru all channels (Front, Rear, Sub). I have XM radio connected thru Line in of my SB card and when I play my XM radio the sound goes only thru Front SpeakersI know that it is a kind of SB limitation but I can not believe that there is no work around to fix this issue. I also understand that the simplest fix would be to use Front Out of my SB card and route it to all 4 speakers but this is not very nice way.
Maybe someone found some alternative drivers to fix this issue or may suggest some other USB sound card (not very expensive) to have all 4 separate speakers and sound from Line in goes to all of them.
Thank you very much for your help.

I have DirectXM box which has only Analog Audio out
I heard that it is kind of Audigy NX's drivers limitation.
I am trying to find some alternative driver which will allow me to route my sound inside the soundcard from Line In to all speakers (true surround).
Maybe someone may help me with that, I know that many people on this forums using Audigy NX2 as a external USB sound card.
Thank you![]()

I think it is a limitation of the Creative's driver. I use a splitter to route sound to my sub and let my amp split the sound to the front and rear speakers. However, this does not allow me to control front-to-rear fading of the speakers or bass volume. I do get sound to all speakers whenever something is playing.
Good luck...

I doubt there's any other drivers other than the ones from Creative. I don't even use Creative's drivers, just use what XP installed on there.

Does your setup similar to my ? Do you connect Line In input and can have sound on all speakers (assuming you connecting Front Out to Front spks and Rear out to rear spks) ?
Thank you,

I dont use the other outputs other than the fronts on mine.
If you have the XMD 1000, u should do the digital output mod so you can take advantage of the digital input on the 2NX card.
