Remote live was on with your car off? Or is that voltage when your deck is on?
Quite possible. Perhaps the remote turn-on circuit got zapped. Try disconnecting the power and reconnect it.
Hi guys,
I have a Vibe monobox 2 (1200 watt) amp and a vibe SQ12 Sub.
I recentley went away for 10 days and upon returning my battery was flat
( first time its happened with this car)
So a friend and i jumpstarted my car, no problems car started fine, HU unit and speakers are fine. But for some reason the amp now has no power. Its been installed for 2 years on and off and has never had a problem previously.
I've checked all the fuses and they are intact, did contintinuity test and visually inspected.
I've tested the live, 12V. and the Remote live has 11.5V i think it was. The ground is also intact.
Is it possible ive shorted or broken something in the amp when jumping the car?
Any suggestions to get me up and running again.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, Cheers

When the deck was on. I didn't test it with the deck off.
I've tried disconnecting the power from the HU. Do you think taking it from the amp may help?
Remote should be at ~0V when deck is off. Just want to make sure your amp was not on when you were jumping the batteries.
I would disconnect the power from the amp, wait 30 seconds, connect it back on.
Will try this, thanks very much hope it works. Or its time to buy a new amp, i think its going that way unfortunetley
Thanks Digital removing the power seems to have done the trick!
Upon removing the power i did also notice one of the fuses was slightly loose so this could of been a cause also. Thanks
Good stuff. :music:
