I am working on a guide to assist the DIYer's on automotive amplifier troubleshoot/repair/upgrading. Until I get too involved I would like to know how many out there would like this?
I am not to good at explaining in writing. so most of this will be on video tutorials along with pictures.
I will cover these subjects within the week, if someone else also has electronic's knowledge then please contribute
*soldering/desoldering techniques and the difference in cold/hot solder joints
*how to determine where to look first on the circuit board when problem occurs
*how to upgrade most amplifiers from all manufacturers. (this will be last in my priority)
*testing stubborn problems with a digital ohms meter, how to test without them
*overheating issues
*reading semiconductor part numbers
*NPN,PNP transistors and how to upgrade them
*trace repair, transistor, bridge rectifier, mofet removal replacement.
