    E-MU 0202 for 2.1 system?

i am in the process of piecing together my carpc and am looking to upgrade the onboard sound. the E-MU 0202 has caught my attention. my question is this: would it make sense to use the two outputs on the 0202 and run one to my 2 channel amp and one to my sub amp? or is there a better option

I used to use one...was pretty happy with it ....switched to maudio fw 410 because i needed more outputs....

the emu 0202 has 2 outputs....a left and right output or one stereo output...you would have to split the signal to go to both amps ...or even better...most amps alow for a pre-out...so u would run one stereo rca cable to your 2 channel amp and from that amps output to your sub...

you are absoultely right, i can use the rca output on my amp. after looking at both amps ive noticed only the sub amp has an rca output. it should still pass along a full frequency signal, correct?
