Sonata 2007 audio setup and question

    1. Tweeters
    2. Door Front Speaker
    3. Door Rear Speaker

my speakers wire directly to my factory head unit. That has no aux in. When i put a car puter in i plan on taking out the factory head unit and replacing it with the LCD.

I assume i'll need an amp to get sound to my speakers when i do this.

    I believe the factory head unit is a 175w. Which I assume means 175w / 6 is about 30 w per speaker.

So my main question is the what kind of amp should I get. I will plug the pc directly into the amp.

I would like to keep stereo sound.

yup, it looks like you'll need a amp.

you could either go with a small motorcycle amp, that has about the same power output as your factory deck(and might even mount in the dash), or you could get a larger aftermarket amp, and mount it somewhere else, and run new wire to all the doors for a little better sound quality, or just run speaker wire to the dash and connect to the factory harness.

from the harness i found, it looks like each door has 1 pair of speaker inputs, and the tweeters are crossed over in the doors-- so there are no separate connections for the tweeters in the dash.

so i found 2 amps that look appealing.
this one is more power than needed. But it's cheap

This one is more towards the power I need for the speakers but is more expensive.

I'm leaning towards the Kicker because it's brand name I recognize. I wanted to see if anyone has input about those and which one I should choose.

pyramid has been around for litterally forever, they are one of those companies that just seems to make decent gear, for a decent price-- nothing that will blow you away, but nothing that is completly horrible..

if you like the kicker, get it i don't think that there is a huge difference in the sound quality of most amps, so that leaves brand preferance...

also-- you seem to know a little about audio save some money and get the amp from somewhere else other than crutchfield aas long as you know what your doing.

crutchfield is a great company to order from if you are really not familiar with car audio, the parts you need, or how to connect everything, but want to learn. but, you pay a slight premium for everything that is ordered from them for this excelent service.

just something to keep in mind...

Thanks for the help man. I'll probably go with the pyramid since it's cheaper and it will probably sound about the same.
