Realtek HD audio is robbing my subwoofer

I was using Win XP with the same computer and everything was fine.

I Installed Windows 7 and tried the Windows default drivers for the Realtek onboard Soundcard, I went to Evga website and tried those, I went to Realtek's website tried those but nothing seems to work correctly.

I can't figure out how to manage the subwoofer volume in Windows 7 with Realtek audio.
Everything seems like it is all the way up but very little sound comes out of the subwoofer.

In the Realtek audio manager I have it set for 5.1 & have the "enable bass management" enabled. If I click the "Audio test" it does come out of the subwoofer (sounds pretty loud) but when playing music through Ride Runner & Winamp the subwoofer is very low.

If I right click on the Windows speaker Icon in the task bar (not the realtek one) and click "playback devices" then right click on speakers then click on properties then all the levels for the subwoofer is all the way up.

I have 2000 Watt amp for the Subwoofer and sounds like 50-100 watts.

How do you adjust the subwoofer volume in Windows 7 with Realtek audio souncard?
Win 7 Pro 64bit, 4gb DDR2 Ram, q6600 Processor, Solid state drive & 7200 drive, Andrea mic, Sirius, DE HD Radio, Opus power supply, 10.4" touchscreen.

the easiest way is to use a y-adapter off the front speaker outputs, and use the amps onboard crossovers. imo, the realtek setup is horrible..

Yeah man, thats sucks.. I use on board audio myself which Has Intel HD Audio7.1 hd audio(eight channels at 192 kHz/32-bit quality).I can adjust all channels, but im using xpsp2. Im sure the voltage coming out of on-board is low. I myself will use line drivers soon going out to amps which will help the voltage up to 8volts per channel. my overall sound is better now then when I used the usb sound blaster years ago which was a good sound card.

    Equalizer

I don't know if this will help you but i will give it a shot. I just use a Pioneer equalizer that is in my glove box. http://www.amazon.com/AVA1404-Amplif.../ref=pd_cp_e_3 is one from amazon that is very similar. I control my speakers and subs as it takes two inputs to one output. It really helps to get the good controlled sound that car audio enthusiasts look for. Its way easier to adjust the sound from manual controls then messing with the touchscreen. Good luck.

I believe this a problem with Windows 7 itself, I have the same problem, fully funcitonal control of the sub on Win XP but none at all in Windows 7, I have to set the sub to the front channel and control the settings on the amp..

The solution to this is to get an equalizer if you want to keep Windows 7, or atleast untill RealTek figures it out.
