Stock stereo damaged and stuck in car! :(

    Hey guys,

My stock (Sony cd6000 - Mondeo '06) stereo is stuck in my car. It looks like someones had a go before and damaged the slides/pins that are supposed to unlock.

What's my best option for getting this out now?

    Thanks,

    Psy

no idea-- have you tried to look at a car specific forum for your model?

sometimes you can pull out the entire bezel around the radio, and then finally separate the radio from that bezel once out..

I would stop by your local stereo shop and have them pull it. They are experts and have all the special tools and knowledge. We used to charge $5 to pull a Ford radio that was damaged and it was usually a 5 minute job.
