If your CarPC has a sound card that supports that number of channels, it should work. It would be nice if every audio install was that straightforward.
Hi,
In another thread there is a guy asking how could he change his HU from his Audi TT and maybe keep the original amp.
I'll have the same issue when the time arrive so I can plug in my CarPC.
Ford Fusion has a Sony 12-speakers 5.1 factory amp`ed sound system that seems to sound fairly ok (many says it sounds horrendous, but i am no audiophile).
Question is: if I plug a harness to my original wiring that has RCA outputs for speakers would it be a problem just to stick it in directly into the back of the CarPC?
The harness in question is found on ebay on this link (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Radio...ht_1043wt_1165 )
See the RCA outputs for speakers... its exactly 5.1 (beeing green/purple the center speakers and subs).
So, is there a problem to stick it on the onboard sound card outputs??
Thank you guys! Sorry for my english, not my main language.![]()

yeah my sound card supports up to 7.1 and the car speakers are disposed in 5.1 channels so i will be using this scheme.
thank you very much
another thing came to my mind:
can I use these 'sensor wires' to power up the PSU? there`s an ignition wire there....
also, there is 'reargear sensor', would it work with the Lilliput -RV models with green wire exposed?
i hope so....
thank you!
That reverse wire should work, but I don't recommend using factory wires for the pc power

thank you for replying...
i`ll draw the power directly from the battery....
what i just want is to pull ignition wire from this harness so i can control motherboard on/off status based on ignition (without cutting wires... 3yr warranty) and even anti thump for factory amp....
