2010 G37s AUX Input

I bought a 2010 G37s a few months back and i've had enough of the stock bose system and the POS "Music Box" Nissan calls a HD based mp3 player, so it's time to think of other solutions. when i bough the car it did not have Navi so i told the dealer the only way i would buy it is if they added it, so indeed they did with this unit

which works fine, but the audio for the navigation is out of a separate tiny built in speaker (side note, the Prodigy one kit uses a small computer with Windows Embedded Edition if anyone cares the code to get to windows is 7777)

now my dilemma is that starting with the 2010 model they stopped adding RCA aux input and instead added a USB port to use either with a USB stick or an Apple product, neither of which does me any good.

I've searched through numerous Infiniti and G37 forums to find there is pretty much no aftermarket adapters to add a 3.5mm AUX in other than an FM crapulator. I saw instructions about regarding how to tap on to the SAT unit and play sound through channel 0 but if you don't subscribe to XM you can't get to channel 0.

so i figured what better place to ask than here, has anyone gotten external sound into a non-navi G37 with a Bose system?

If you can hear any preview xm channel i believe channel 247 or 0 you can stop the audio from the satellite tuner using an A and B switch idea, this interface works with audio sensing so there is no manual buttons to use, you have to find the audio wires in the satellite plug this is the cables that send the music from the xm to the infinity radio, this cables are double shield and you have to cut them white and red or back and red in some vehicles, this is the device we use

^ True. If you don't have any Ipod or anything that comes from Apple, this is your best shot. Tie into the LH and RH audio signals from the XM tuner and turn to ch 0 on XM radio. It will works as great as an aux in.
