Internal Amplifier - Anyone Used One?

I'm looking for an amplifier for my upcoming Car PC. As space is at a major premuim, I was looking for an amp to go inside the PC case. I'll probably be using something like a Voom2 case and had just seen the ByByte internal 4-ch amp.

It's the only one of it's type I've seen and was wondering just how good they are.... has anyone got / used one at all?

Aside from a complete lack of space, another issue I have is the car has no roof. This means it's a bit loud inside the car and I was questioning whether the little ByByte would be able to cope with powering the 5.25" components I'll be fitting in the dash.

Any feedback on this or any other amps would be greatly appreciated.

Well i did a review on the DTA45. You can check out the mp3car blog for it. I'd say its on par with factory stereo in terms of sound quality and power output. Cons include the heat the device generates and you're not going to power much of a subwoofer off one. Pros include wire savings and zero cable interference.

I used TDA7850 with Denoiser amp kit from ebay. Works very well. Check the build in my signature.

THanks for the thread, with me though i have a 4 channel amp powering a pair of components and my two rear 6x9's and then a mono amp for my pair of 12 in subs. Unfortunately it seems like unless i want to spend 500 more bucks on a equalizer i don't have the option of using the optical out from my motherboard, so instead how do i get the signals form my sound card to my amps? 3.5 to rca cords? seems kinda ghetto but is that the typical fix?

Either that or a USB sound card which I would guess is what most people do.
