And an awful lot of those links are to items that are discontinued and not in stock.
In a perfect world, autosound makers would have agreed on a standard interface between head units and processors. Instead, you have to find both a head unit and a DSP/amp/whatever that's compatible with it, both from the same manufacturer and most likely the same model year. Or get an autosound Dolby Digital decoder, except those are kind of rare. But searching on "decoder" found one: ebay item 130662156931 "Blaupunkt ODA 5.1 Surround with Dolby Digital and DTS decoder". $360 isn't free, but that may be 1/3 the original MSRP.
Try visiting every local car audio dealer, and check out what's lurking on their clearance table. I found a couple of Panasonic digital surround processors at a small town dealer for a mere $25 each. Just be careful that they don't require a matching head unit or controller that isn't included. Visit any car buff swap meets; dealers sometimes use those to get rid of stuff.
Alternatively, get a cheapish S/PDIF DAC (ebay: "Digital Optical Coaxial to Analog RCA Audio Converter") and a motorized volume control pot.
amp in my first link can be purchased new here:
