    Lightbulb Custom volume control knob...

    Hello everyone,

I'm a new member, but have been lurking for awhile .

Anyway I bought a Saab C900 and I'm looking to change the stereo system around.

What I'd like to do is connect my phone via bluetooth to an amp and play my music that way.

The way I'm thinking about doing this is:

Phone connects to something like this

*Edit: I guess I'm not allowed to post links yet. Just search amazon Logitech Wireless Speaker Adapter for Bluetooth Audio Devices (980-000540)*

and have that input to one large volume control knob placed in a fancy custom made aluminum plate in the stereo slot that will be backlite using leds. And that outputs to and Amp.

What do you think? Should this work? Any other ideas?

Thanks for any and all input,
    ~ThinkTime

yes, either a knob like this:
    http://www.amazon.com/PAC-Remote-Amp...+level+control

or you can use a preamp like the jl audio cl-rlc-- which would boost the signal and give you volume control..
