I am quite happy with diamond 7.1 usb sound card. it has stereo mic inputs which are a good thing if you have more than 1 line in device. I had given up on sound blaster long ago. SNO

SNO... are you powering car speakers directly from the Diamond, or do you have a separate amp? Just curious as I need to sort out getting audio to my speakers next Thanks!

I have the diamond going into a logitech x540 sub/amp wired to my 4 factory speakers plus I used the centre from the logitech kit. I pulled the 120v power supply out and replaced it with dc-dc-usb power supply running @14.9v. I am very happy with the depth of sound using this setup and the bonus of the wired remote on-off and volume/bass is the best. I did add a wood plate to the bottom of the sub since it was sitting sideways in my truck and had nothing to reflect bass. SNO

If space is an issue you could go with this http://store.mp3car.com/TDA7850_Inte..._p/com-140.htm Lots of peeps use this in the small space of a carPC. I have one I am putting in a double din box thats being built for someone. Haven't tested yet so I can't comment on sound quality. SNO

Aye, the TDA7850 is on my radar too. I was just a bit concerned about it's oomph.... still for the price might be worth a shot, as the more I can keep inside the M350 case, the better.
