Isn't that what ground blocks are for? You flow all the grounds together so that they only have one path to take.
Something I made yesterday to try to help myself to figure out what parts I need to buy for my wiring. Now i dont have the amps yet, but I'm going to wire and install all the blocks for them, I'll probably get the 300/4 sometime in june and 500/1 sometime later. This is my first attempt at installing any car audio/electronics equip. so just want to make sure i didnt do anything excessively stupid in that drawing
Some notes:
Both JL Amps are TYPE AB i believe, now i'm not sure what exact efficiency they are. But 4AWG should be enough right?
Not sure if i should ground both amps to one block, there is a good chance it will create some problems.
- Definetely shouldnt ground the pc to same point. Right?

By the way... nice diagram. What'd you use to make it?
Yes, in theory. However, you should only ground to same point if the resistance of the grounding point is equal for all equipment.Originally Posted by Banderon

So toss on some resistors in your Ground lines leading up to the block, and make sure they aren't grounded anywhere before.

It's RMS. I will most likely have to add a cap as I cant imagine my battery would hold up either, I will be drawing a lot of power with that setup.
