As long as you're going with a 1din to 1din, there shouldnt be a problem. I believe that theres another cable to match up between your new player and your type of auto.
I've got a 95 neon and since the factory unit crapped out and there is a place having a big sale on electronics I am going to need some info. I need to know what all it will take to install a 1din unit in my car and were to get it. Although I have a sense of what I need I don't know anything for sure.

You have a DIN and a Half mount, you're going to need a Dash installation kit. Check out http://www.scosche.com/scosche/insta...n/chrysler.asp
Also, you can get a wiring harness adapter that makes things cleaner and easier. Most of these products can be purchased at BestBuy or CircuitCity, etc.
1.6GHz HP e-PC, 768MB RAM, 120GB WD HDD, Slim DVD-ROM, Onboard sound & video, 7" Lilliput, USB GPS Mouse, Audiovox FM Modulator, Vector 400 Watt Power Inverter, Windows XP Pro SP2, iGuidance 2, 15" Samsung LCD for the rear *Carputer not installed*
Yeah don't forget the install kit, as Neons are 1.5 Din. I have a neon so if you have any questions just ask!
Thanks for the help so far. Now what can I expect to pay for the install kit and wire harness with and with out ordering online.
About $20 for the dash kit, and $15 for the wiring harness.

the 95 neons where still single DIN not 1.5 din...the 2Gs might but I know the 1G used a single DIN. I used the scosche install kit on my Pioneer HU and it looked like it came with the deck from the factory. Both the install kit and wiring harness can be found at Wal-mart for pretty cheap.
Also as an FYI, I've seen a lot of Chrysler Scosche harnesses recently that for some reason show a black (ground) wire in the harness in place of the mute (brown) wire. If you hook your ground up to this your radio will not work. There will be either a thicker gauge wire w/ a spade plugged into the back of your radio or a ground strap w/ a 10 mm on the back. Use that for your ground.
