I think with the "digital transport" of the Signal the Problem will be solved.
Sorry for my English...
Got any more info on the amp? Brand, Price, Specs? The only one I have seen was from asia. There were pretty pictures but no prices. I emailed the company and got no reply. I too am interested in a digital input amp.Originally Posted by turbopropper

Sometimes amps can reduce generator whine and other noises.
When testing my carpc I used some kind of an old equalizer-booster thingy.
- by the way, I don't have a head-unit. - I had generator whine and noise produced my PSU or mobo.
After that i tried to hook up with my amp i would be using for my real install:
All the whine and noises had disappeared. A friend of mine (works in the car-hifi business) had suggested me to try this. Some head-units or low quality amps save money on filtering out noise, which was the case here.
Why is it drug addicts and computer afficionados are both called users?
Currently : Audi A6 - no install
Second install : VW Passat '97 CarPC
First install : '87 Audi 80 CarPC
Yeah that was the one I saw.Originally Posted by dominic
