The key word is "normalize" but don't know what app is good anymore.
I'm just looking for good program to equilize the volume level and the bitrate etc of all my mp3's does anyone have experience with a good one?
The key word is "normalize" but don't know what app is good anymore.
You could take a look at MP3Gain for the normalization part:
http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net/
For bitrate conversion you could try RazorLAME:

Hope this helps a little.
I have mp3gain and it works great. But I'm wondering if there's a similar program for .wma files?

I'll second the mp3gain recommendation. Worked great for me.
I use MediaMonkey. It's great for tags, renaming, and volume normalization. For the most part, it's freeware. The paid for version adds directory monitoring and a sleep timer. Two or three other things are included but there not really worth paying for...
