i have heard that the sound quality of the motherboard built-in sound cards donot have very good sound quality (am i right or wrong?). Can you provide me a list of the best quality sound cards (built-in or not builtin, any) and their prices please.

SB Audigy 2 NX is a favorite around here.
Audigy or Audigy 2 are decent quality cards (the A2 notibly better).
Turtle Beack Santa Cruz is nice if you dont like Creative.
Otherwise, onboard sound with the nForce2 Soundstorm is pretty high quality, for being onboard. Make sure its soundstorm, though.
