    Recommendations for amp wiring kits...

I need to get an amp wiring kit and wanted to get some recommendations from some of you here.

I will be running a 4 channel amp, a 800 watt inverter, and an infinity basslink (integrated 200 watt amp and sub). I know the basics (i.e. I will need a fused distro block to distribute the power to the three components above).

I wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations for an amp wiring kit and a cheap place to get it that would fit my needs. I did a quick ebay search and there are tons of kits on there - is there something I should look for specifically?

    Thanks.

    -HD

http://www.knukonceptz.com/ was suggested to me by a car audio friend of mine. They seem to have good kits and are cheap. I can't tell you exactly what to get though, since I don't know this stuff very well myself.

as soon as I saw the subject header I was going to say knukonceptz too. GREAT prices on very quality products. Do yourself a favor and when/if you get an amp kit, you might want to get a bunch of ring terminals/spade terminals, and as you mentioned, a distro block.

The kits come with some speaker wire, but depending on how much you need, you may want more of that too. Also wire loom (i think it's called that?) you know, the plastic stuff that you can stuff a bunch of wires into to protect them physically.

    Good luck

I love knu wire.... the value is amazing.. and teh product is fantastic....

But I have to say, for an all in one kit, audiopipe can NOT be beat... period!

    $36 shipped for a 4 gauge kit.... around $60 shipped for a 0/1 gauge kit, including D-block!

I always recommend audiopipe for complete kits, the price simply cannot be beat, and teh quality of the product is fantastic... its an unbelieveable deal!

then, when you need a second RCA cable, or another D-block, or small parts, I order from knu.

the audiopipe RCA cables, for all their cheap looking-ness, are absolutely fantastic as well, not the kind of kit youd end up being forced to swap out upgraded RCA cables for!

I am a little confused...on the knuconceptz webpage it shows a few different fused distro blocks. I basically want to take the single input directly from my car battery and split it up 3 ways. The fused distro blocks I see @ Knuconceptz take 3 inputs and output them 4 ways.

I am confused - isn't a distro block supposed to take one input and split it up x # of ways? Why do some of them have multiple inputs?

    Thanks!

you can use those as non fused outputs, if you wish, or take multiple cable lines from multiple batteries in this fashion, they leave the option open for however you wish to configure your system.
