After reading the forum and searching around, I found these two center channel speakers:
Clarion SRK5

Both of them have about the same power ratings, about 25watt RMS and should be relatively easy to instead and not have to cut holes in your dash.
Are there anyone using either of the speakers ? How do you like them ?
One concern I have is that the front left/right speakers I have are running at around 100watt each, but if the center speaker can only run at 25watt, would it make the center channel too soft ?
Anyone with experience please help !

Actually i would not want to pay this kind of money for a center channel speaker that is visable. It is low powered and takes up precious dash space. What I did in my setup was to place a 6x8 below and behind my shift boot and I just bumped up the gain a little bit.
Works Perfect, It is Cheaper, Saves Dash Space, and is loud and high powered.

Luckily for me, both the car's that I'm hooking up are 93 RX7s - they already come with a center channel ....
So I'm going with the Alpine on mine, and still determining what route I want to go with on the other.
Yeah, some of the Z's also came with a center channel. However, my Rodeo already has 8 speakers, including the two tweeters, so if I add anything, it will be my sub box, rather than a center channel. I already have a speaker in every door, with the tweets in the front doors and two speakers above the rear glass...it resutls in pretty decent sound, although I'm used to more bass in my Z with my system installed.
I'm still fighting with the wifey about adding my subs to the "family car." She thinks they aren't needed, so I told her that they're easy to turn off from the headunit, but she still doesn't like the idea - she says a 23 year old father doesn't need subs...but I disagree! Anyways, for now, I just up the bass in the Equalizer settings in Media Car and crank it up on the Kenwood head and I call it a day. It sounds better than the radio or the head unit alone, depending on the quality of the MP3 rip...so I'm happy.
The center channel can be used for surround sound but it also improves stereo sound for those that are in the vehicle with you. We sit on the left most of the time since it's our vehicle so the speakers are usually tuned for the person in the left seat, well this makes the sound quality drop for the person in the right seat. With the center channel speaker it helps balance them out though.
In all my designing I forgot the center channel speaker. Oh well, back to the drawing board.
For movies and any sort of surround sound there must be a center channel. If not, don't even bother with 5.1 settings on the via boards. You will get a better sound if you don't enable 5.1 if you don't have the center channel.
On another note, this is a site about modding and you all are going to look for center channel speaker packages? Isn't that an oximoron? What I would do is build it into the dash, center console, or on top of the dash. Instead of getting a package, make one. Make a small speaker box for 1-3 small speakers (or even tweeters), build a small amp with crossovers and a single rca input.
This is what I would do if I enable 5.1.
