I am actually considering getting one of the 30-band 1/3octave equalizers. I forfeit the convenience of having the dials in my dash, but I find that I don't fiddle with the outputs on my current head unit much, if at all. Once the imaging and sound are correct, the only thing I *ever* change is the level of the woofers. I don't mind using software for that, cause its only a few times a week that I change music genres :)Quote:

Do you let the equalizers and/or crossovers (external and internal) do the work? I guess I am just having a hard time visualizing exactly how everything would go together. And also...how does the M-Audio Revolution 7.1 compare to the Terratec Aureon 7.1?
Thanks for the help so far ;)
