Your headunit was probably just a preamp. Most any name brand amp will do. Check crutchfeild for some ideas.
Heya..
When I started getting into this mp3car sickness I decided I didn't want my finished product to be any louder than my stock Infinity Gold system that came in my jeep. Well as it turns out, the line output from the computer isn't enough for the stock amp, so I am looking for a replacement. I don't want anything big, as I am only going to be driving:
2- JL Audio SE-40T Tweets (up front)
2- 6x9" Infinity woofers (Front Doors)
2- 6.5" Infinity full-range (Rear Doors)
The amp is currently a Infinity (180w) but it doesnt digging the low-level input that I am feeding it. I would say that my stereo is 30% as loud as it used to be..
I would like to keep the cost down, and the amp must be available from crutchfield, because I have a gift cert from them.
Any suggestions?

Not everybody knows what the infinity gold system that comes with a jeep consists of. Could you clarify a little bit? Also, what does "it doesnt digging the low-level input" mean?
lol.. Sorry

By not digging low-level input I mean that the volume of my music is probably around 30% of what it used to be. The amp is obviously expecting pre-amped signal, and the computer isn't giving it what it needs..
It looks like a line-driver might be what I need, however I have no idea where to start looking for one of those.
