How many mp3's?

Hey Brady - I contact the distribution centers and purchase entire labels. I just picked up the entire invisible records collection for $300 on ebay. That way 500 or so CDs. You won't like all of what you get - but when you are paying $.70 each - You can risk throwing 1 or 200 away!

heypachuco - That is unfortunate that you can think of 500+ CDs - Time to broaden your musical taste... Think classical - soundtracks - oldies - industrial - metal - rap - r&b - soul - instrumental - easy listening - pop... Just think - bands like metallica have a ton of CDs - how many police and sting albums are there?

I used to go crazy with collecting mpo3's but now I just keep what I listen to. I guess I have around 4000 songs. I dload/buy more when I get tires of what I am listening to.

I've got almost 45 gigs, and you know what - 90% of them are a waste of hard drive space. When you think about it, how many of your MP3s do you actually listen to (not counting DJs)?

I have 863 CD's 8733 songs in all. NO mp3's all in wma lossless. It take my shuttle with an XP2200+ about 3 1/2 minutes to copy a full cd including downloading album art and track/title info using windows media player 9. I am running two 250 Gb hard drives ( half a terabyte ) in my van. Oh ya i do have a libary card and thay have 10,000+ cd's I have not counted them yet. But they let you check out 50 at a time for two weeks at a time.
