been given a couple of old AMPS but need help

One is a Pioneer GM-620, easy enough to work out what it does and how it is wired,

The other is a Realistic (Radioshack/Tandy) equaliser/Booster model number 12-1959.

I realise that neither is going to set the world alight power wise, I just need something to replace roughly power to power the stock toyota headunit with is getting done away with altogether.

I reckon using the Pioneer for the rears and the Realistic for the front, I should be abe to use the factory speakers without blowing them, which I would with a more powerful AMP.

Does anyone have either a manual or PDF of the realistic that could put online line a list of wiring for power and speakers. I think I have the speakers sussed, but the rear set have an extra wire, that looks like it is supposed to be there, is supposed to be fused, but looks like it isn't linked to the main unit of the amp at all, only to the detachable rear speaker plug.

    Any help gratfully recieved.
    TIA

Radio Shack's web page has a complete list of manuals for all their products.

    http://support.radioshack.com/produc...lizers&Reuse=N

50dB channel separation, less than 1% THD at 1 watt...oooh, great, wonder what the THD is at normal listening levels. I'd rush the new amp purchase, Radio Shack amps are pretty crappy...

Ah thanks, i shall have a look at that. All I could find before was the support.tandy.com address (their old non US brand), but that is dead.

The System is going to be replacing a 1990 Celica radio cassette headunit, and running through the factory speakers for now, so I don't want anything too mental. I'm not looking for massive loud audio, as TBH, I mainly listen to FM for traffic and MP3 (and I was OK with an FM modulator for a while) so as long as I can get it whine free, I think I will be able to live with it.
