Oh well. I guess I'm a douche. Kazaa rocks. Besides I DON'T WANT DVDs. I wan't it on my hdd.

The only 2-parter I've seen is the first episode.

Not sure the exact #, but I think I've got 45+ episodes. I'll get the exact count later, just for you. I stopped collecting since my buddy's making me a complete collection on divx DVDs (which will be copied to the hdd to fill the blanks).

And since they don't make Zim anymore, what is there to support? Especially considering once they stopped making it they probably just sold the license (support Time/Life video!).

    Either way, Kazaa rocks.

    Rip the world!!!

What was that you said about "wave of the future"?

Support is Jhonen Vasquez, if u dont know who he is or his work, STOP WATCHING INVADER ZIM AND PICK UP A GRAPHIC NOVEL.

Kazaa rox yes, but only kazaalite, u use kazaa yer an idiot.

And yes u are no Zim fan because there are MULTIPLE double episodes.

    XMass
    Halloween
    Planet Jackers
    Frycook from Space
    Battle of the Planets.

Yer an idiot worthy of being GIRs slave.

You obviously dont know **** about **** when it comes to Zim. It was not sold to anyone but brought to AnimeWorks who is putting out the DVD. God, why the **** do u watch the show if u dont know anything about it? Funny is funny, but if u know everything behind the stories, its much funnier.

wooh there guys, I said it before & I'll say it again, I AM NOT KNOCKING THE PC IN THE CAR THING, far from that.I only point out my years worth of experience to convey the fact that even though it says "newbie" under my user name, I have been screwing with this stuff since way back when, I certainly don't mention this to impress anybody here...(I'll save that for my pictures )

My main thinking in this post is boiled down to two things really:

#1) since now adays there is so much support in this area ,(the car pc install), I was just curious if anybody has gotten to the point that they belive there system works "as good as" a regular audio video install...wow... no insults there...
Maybe I did elaberate on MY opinion & how & why I choose to go with a hybrid system, but I certainly don't think I meant to insult or put anything/one down

#2) I just wanted to point out to whoever it may benefit that it IS possible to have a pc in there car without having to spend the next few years of there spare time attempting to achieve this, especially those that have limited abilitys, time & resources. you must admit that it would be EASIER to just install a basic system for audio/video & then just SUPPLIMENT that with a pc, best of both worlds... why is it so bad to get this point across? there are many viewers of these fourums that haven't even started a system yet, why is it bad for them to realize that they have options...

As far as the guy who says that "...any pc navigation is far superior to stand alone systems", I only have one thing to say, you obviously haven't had the oportunity to use many of either one, or you'd easily realize that there is no comparison.

I also did mention that "...If money wasn't the issue" & that obviously is hypathetical, because unless donald trump or bill gates is browsing these forums, money is ALWAYS an issue. I too started my in car pc installs because of the obvious, that the end results could cost much less & be more functional. I actually used to frown on those $2,000 head units that needed a seperate $1,500 navigation & all the rest that goes with it. I to used to think that was crazy, I could do a pc system for much less....where you guys are now is where I've been.

has anybody ever heard the praise "time is money", for those of you who insist that the money is such a big deal I have one question, "If you spent all of the effort that you spent on installing your pc on working for money, do you think you could have made enough to buy a complete system?" I do realize that a lot of you are young & maybe still in school, but I'm sure there are more than a few of you that could earn more than your saving... just a little something to think about...& please don't slam me with the "satisaction of doing it myself" stuff,I do realize that end of it & also feel that satisfaction...

I don't have such an elaberate system in my car because I have ton's of cash, but rather because it is such a high priority for me that I'd rather have a $7,000 car with a $12,000 system than say some awsome $20,000 car stock. That's just me...

my last car was a $2,700 car with a $8,000 system, not said to impress, just to point out where my prioritys lie...
i'm sure quite a few of you start with a car that is worth more than my whole car & system, it's all relative dude, the guy who is atempting to install a system in his 02 whatchamacallit & complaining about the price of an alpine system is the same guy who could have bought a 99 whatchamacallit & had enough change for a complete alpine system & a pc to boot......food for thought.....

    P.S. who is zim?

I know who Jhonen Vasquez is.
Hell yes I only use KL++.
I have the Halloween, PlanetJackers, and Frycook from Space episodes. I think they compiled the two into one file. For the first episode I have one file named "Part 1" and one named "Part 2" but the first one is really the whole episode.
Honestly, I don't really CARE about **** when it comes to Zim. It's funny, it's free, I watch it, I laugh, and I really don't see how knowing anything about AnimeWorks is going to make any episode any more amusing. I don't know Jon Stewart's mother's maiden name, but the Daily Show is still funny.

Besides me and GIR would party, so I don't care. He'd have me bring him taquitos and hot chicks. We'd paint the town red.

Turbocad6, what sorta internet connection do you have that'll let you surf in traffic? I was thinking of putting an 802.11g card in mine but that doesn't have the range for that sorta thing...

Id just like to say that NO, limited resources DOES NOT point towards a hybrid system. The point is this, spending $400 on a decent head unit (not on fancy **** just spending the amount u need for 4 channel out with seperate sub channel) is not worth it when u consider that for a few hundred more u have Mp3, DVD, games, WiFi, and all that crap mentioned here in all the threads.

If u dont have time or money, buying a HU and having Circuit City install it, is a WASTE of money. If people are truly ever serious about an A/V system then skimping on **** just cuz u dont got the time/resources means that they dont want a good A/V system. Carputers are ALWAYS better than a HU handsdown, cost wise, expansion wise, etc etc etc.

Now Audio is a different beast, yes spending alot of good money on amps and speakers IS ALWAYS a good idea, but a head unit is just another line item on an invoice; that should really read

    Music: computer
    DVD: computer
Navigation: computer (yeah so luxury, and not so luxury, cars have nice sweet NAV systems that were built FOR auto industry and not the GPS software u find for PC, apples to oranges)
    Gaming: computer (emulation not Doom3)
    WiFi: computer

so where does a HU ever come in first on this? Tell me?
