I have one of this in my car hooked up to my Alpine HU, works and sounds great! This Kicker IX405D (Class D) and has remote sub control. It has been superceded by the newer KX series so maybe you will take a look at the newer Kicker 5ch? Forget about this if you want to enter bass competition, but it should work for any carpc setup with 4.1 setup (RCAs, not digital)

I agree this PG 5.1ch digital is great amp for carpc, only if you have a fair bit of budget for it..Originally Posted by berdine3

Hehe yes very high end amp.. Even if you gift me one of that, I wouldnt afford to spend $$ on getting my speakers, subs etc upgraded to match the performance!Originally Posted by ncamara

I just wanted to report back to everyone that was helping my decision. I decided to go with a JL Audio Amp 300/4 4 Channel. I got it for $220.00 which I think is a bargain. I figure for know I will run 2 fronts and 2 backs and then when I add a sub I will run off the back channel and add those speakers to the front channels.
If I end up without enough power for the system with the sub then I will have to add a sub amp.
Thanks alot guys.
