Audigy 2 NX Dolby Digital with optical output

I have an Audigy 2 NX connected to a sound processor with optical output and then (from the processor) to the amps....
BUT I cannot get 5.1ch D.Digital... I've tested this processor with a home theater DVD and it is OK (with bitstream) and with another computer with on-board optical output and is OK too!!!

So it should be the Audigy?? Should I change something from the software???

Any advice/hint would be greatly appreciated!!!

in the creative software you have to set it up as 5.1 channel for your speaker setup...

oh.. and if your input is the line-in.. you will NOT get anything but just regular steroe output over the front 2 speakers...

Unfortunately I know about the Line-IN...

BUT when u use optical (digital) output you don't have to set the speakers to 5.1 ... THis is just for the internal decoder!!!
i click on digital output only... BUT I don't get dolby digital signal!!!

But with the onboard sound card I get!!!!!!!!!!!!!
