I decided to take and post a bunch of pictures of my current setup to help get some ideas. You will notice the ground connection behind the drivers side jumpseat that supplies power to the amp - I know it's not the best - it's only temporary... Look around and suggest a way for me to set up the audio system. Thanks! -BMW

You can check out my install as well.. I relocated the head unit and it's very simple to switch from PC to radio... I ended up getting an Explorer full length console and it worked our exactly how I had planned.

Ok, so I see that on your setup you used the aux in on your stereo... How does that sound? That seems to be the logical and best solution, almost too easy .

If your still having problems with engine noise coming from your speakers, might I suggest something called a "Ground Loop Isolator". They are pretty cheap here in San Diego. I bought mine at a local car audio shop for $20, and it solved my problem.

    Peace,

Yeah. I have heard of these. I am not sure that I will continue using the amp though either... I might just get a new headunit with and aux in. Thanks though! -BW

I will go ahead and go this route then and get a deck with the aux inputs. Can anyone suggest a location to mount it since the Lilliput will be in the way of the lold location? I will get a unit with a remotely mountable faceplate... Ideas? Thanks! -Brett W
