Are you saying the Radio Shack isolator is cheap? How many ways do you think there are to build a ground loop isolator?

    Why use one?

Just fix the problem and you won't need it.....

    pretty sure they sell one....

But I would think most any car stereo shop would sell them as well. Pretty common when people install their own systems

A salesman says that something a rival shop is selling that his shop doesn't stock is crap? Now where have I heard that one before

A GLI is a GLI. If you need one, get one, or rewire. Simple as

Try A&B sound, they have lots of Audio parts. Other shops includes Vision, BoyzAudio, Vadar speed and sound, etc etc. If you want I can sell you mine, it's useless after I fixed my problem. BUT, I got it from RadioShack as well.

The best way is to fix the problem.
