Yeah, it's 2V. I just picked one up last night... WAYYYY better than m10000 stock!

Although, the CPU usage I could do without, it's slowed down my whole machine.

why dont you guys just use a line driver to boost the voltage? thats the cheapest and easiest way to get clean power out of your rca's without having to have external controls like an eq or anything.

Now that I have my system fully integrated and functional, I must say that I'm not too happy with the audio quality I'm getting from the M10000. I'm using the onboard 5.1 (ignoring the center channel) to my amp, and the bass that the sub channel is putting out is pretty weak. I'm talking about the frequencies below 100hz or so. I have a single 12 in my trunk. Compared to the M10000, the stock 'business radio' unit (which was already of marginal quality) I had in before was putting out a richer signal. The M10000 just sounds a bit flat.

Have any of you been able to achieve decent audio quality? Maybe with an external usb sound card? I'm talking about a quality approaching that of a top-of-the-line pioneer or comparable system.

    Thanks for any info!

I bought a SoundBlaster Live USB. I cranked it up to 24bits and the sound quality is amazinggggggg, it is well beyond descent. It seems like its out preforming my home theater surround sound. I had two 12's in my truck, but decided to downgrade to one 12 (hate loosing space). Only thing I hate is that when I start the car I hear several pops, but guys on here say its my PSU powering up my amps to early, havent had a chance to play with that..... My setup uses to mini amps, both are 150watts. so thats 75 watts per speaker..... The Soundblaster makes you set it to 5.1 in order to use the sub, and getting the sub to put out what you want takes some playing around. Also the soundblaster will put all of the center speaker sound through the front speakers if you dont connect it.... All in all, I am happy with the SoundBlaster....
