yea thats the idea, Im actually using a USB aux in for my HU XA-300 but once it gets their i belve its 2 ch that goes tot he HU, but then the HU splits it up to 4ch + sub. So that way i cut out hte sound card problem.

i was looking at this one http://www.crutchfield.com/S-oL2YsSe...0&I=113KAC8401

is 60 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms good?

what he is saying is that his headunit has aux in.

then he'll take his rca pre-outs and run that to the amps.

    he's got it figured out.

60 watts is pretty good when you add a sub to that, but it also depends on the quality of the amp.

well i thnk since im trying not to break my bank open. that i will just get a 4ch and keep the sub amp i got now untill it breaks, its a pretty nice amp 600W kenwood dont know the model and its rainign right now so im a chicken since its hard to get to my amp.

do you think i need to worry about having the speaker cables down the center of the car or is that nothing to worry about?

for my setup i have got 2 sony 2channel 50w rms amps, they both have a chain output (must have a line driver in them as they put out the same as they get in) i will run the l+r from my sound card into the first amp for the front speakers, the chain out into the second amp for my rear speakers and the chain out from the second amp into a third bridged jbl 200w rms amp for my sub. i will then adjust them using the level controls on each amp and a sound meter. this cost me £300 for the 3 brand new. (would have cost about a ton on ebay) and sounds about as good as anything i ever heard..
