    Question About Power Line

I have a typical 8 guage power line from the battery to my five channel amp. The amp is in the trunk. I wanted to install a PC in the trunk as well. Can I run another power wire off the amp to an inverter to the pc. Let me know the best setup.

I guess depends on how big of an inverter, but you should be fine, I did the exact same thing. I'm running a 1000w amp with 2 10" subs and carputer off same power. No prob yet.

The 'best' setup is to buy an Opus 150w and run your power line from the amp to that. Then take your invertor back to the shop.

Many people will tell you that you need to hardwire to the battery. I never bothered, and haven't had any issues.
