    Which Rockford amp to get??

    Hey Guys

Anyone have any experience with the different rockford amps?
    The new line up.

I am also considering changing sub or maybe subs with it.

It has to be rockford because of a great deal i can get on it.

I was thinking either a (mono) power or fanatic amp for 500watt subs rms

    What sub(s) do you have?

The T10001bd should be plenty for you . 500wRMS @ 4 ohm, and 1000 @ 1 ohm. They are supposedly underrated as well.

The Punch 6001 may be good for you also, but without knowing anything other than what you posted, I couldnt really help you out (if you have a 2 ohm load, then the P6001 would be plenty. If you have a 4 ohm load, then the T10001bd would be a better choice for 500wrms. if you are thinking of getting a few more subs, then the T10001bd would be the better choice being its 1 ohm stable, assuming you would wire the subs to 1 ohm)

    Matt

screw the Punch series....keep with the Power series.....the power series are some decent amps.....punch series was made for Best Buy and are a much lesser quality/performance amplifier/speaker line....

I can't see anything wrong with the punch series, I have two P2002 amps, the print out states from the 2 x 50Watts @ 4 ohms they actually manage 84 watts, can't hear anythign wrong with them either.

Running 1 2002 supporting power 6.5" components, 1 2002 supporting punch 6.5" Coaxial rear fill, 1 P3001 supporting 2 10" subs and 1 clarion centre speaker (seperately amped)

some people also wouldn't notice that a jensen amp sucks.....but they do....it's all dependent upon how your ear is tuned and your speakers (quality), etc......

a lot of times quality goes beyond what you can see
