Here ya go man.
hi, does anyone know where to buy MDF rings. I don't have the tools to make them but i am starting my custom sub enclosure (fiberglass) and don't know where to buy it (10 inch sub). Thanks
Wow, those are pretty expensive!
Check your PM box
you can make them very easily....there was a thread about that not too long ago.....I posted the pic of the plate that you can buy (or make) to make rings of all size that you want.
do a quick search and ye shall find
also if you are a poor starving college student and dont have the cash, a jigsaw albeit cheap can be had for dirt fomr home depot as a starter power tool, and at least get you off and running making any curve you want.
very true, monte built many boxes with just a jig saw....back before he had any other tools....lol
Surely you must know a carpenter, or have an independant wood seller bloke nearby who could quickly knock some up for you?
$20.67 for 2 doesn't sound expensive to me. I have the tools and I doubt I'd make them if I could buy them locally. Wouldn't be worth the hassle to get my tools out for.
IMO it's not that expensive, until you see that you can buy an entire sheet of MDF for $20...lol
but when compared to the cost of tools.....it's cheap...
I don't see a carpenter thinking it's worth their time to make them for you for what you are probably wanting to pay....
A meant more a mate with the right tools who's good with wood rather than Bob The Builder
