I need to get to sound cards for my dual monitor support, i want one output for dvd and the other for naviagtion...
I am also going to be getting rid of my HU so i need to have outs on one of the cards for 2 left speakers and 2 right speakers and one output for my subwoofer
the other sound card is just going to some wireless headphones

i dont have one yet... im still in the planning stages for my rebuild... i was looking at the Epox (got that idea from your thread)... and the PSU i dont know yet

well based on your sig a 500mhz processor i dont think will be able to handle all that sound/video
some ppl with 1ghz epias have probs with dual vid output alone
my guess is with an audigy you could accomplish this but unless you have 8 separate speakers
4 Front L Front R Rear R Rear L
and Rear Front L Rear Front R Rear Rear L and Rear Rear R
i think just a regular soundcard hooked up to do both front 2 and rear two would be best unless im missing something here

well im rebuilding the system in my car... and the system in my sig is my current system... im looking to get a 2Ghz processor...
i have two speakers up front and two in the rear, plus a sub

Why not 1 soundcard for your speakers and the onboard sound for your headphones?

I don't even know if all applications can be made to use a certain soundcard... might want to check that too!

Alot of people use the Soundblaster Audigy 2 External sound card. Probably would want to look into those.
