    Boss amp?

I'v seen these so many times I just had to ask this question. Has any one used them before and if so are they better than factory head unit sound? Here is a link to one of the many sites I have seen them at. I'm sure it isn't the highest end thing in the world but if it is better than my 1978 factory radio it will do.

Boss audio isn't too bad. They're not a high end brand; if you buy one don't expect the world of it. Their design's somewhat 'economised' (eg. using fan forced heatsinks instead of large passive heatsinks), but the ones i've seen sound okay.

Just be careful with what you buy, they're basic amps, and some of them don't do bridging, 2 ohm stable, etc.

I've said it befor eand I'll say it again

Boss is the lowest of the low when it comes to car stereo.

You really can't get any worse.

    It's COMPLETE crap.

It bothers me that so many people out there are duped into thinking that their claims are real, especially when considering the price of their products....

Head units are 4 channel and normaly only run on 10A fuses. Any way I think I have decided to go with a cheap lanzar as from every thing I have read they are some of the better amps in the cheap line up.

head units also don't put out the same amount of power that thing is claiming....

honnestly I would go with lanzar before i went with the boss amplifier
