Home speakers simply will not and cannot compete with car speakers in a car environment. Period.

I can't believe this is even an argument. Wow.

ummm....absolutely, positively, 100%, yes they can, have, and will continue to do so.

Corry Hemel and Markey Dietrich, and the Kicker team

Focal started off with home speakers.

B&W drivers have been used in a particular BMW.

    Garry Biggs

    Rob Rice

The best speakers out there started off as home speakers.

you know, I tried to post over there yesterday, and no matter what I did, it kept telling me to search...

I did, over and over and over, and nothing came up on what I was looking for.

hell, i even tried to post in the introductions section and it still told me to search first....

lol at the very top of the form there is a little check box that asks if you searched, check that off and you will be able to submit your question

edit: sorry that option is for the diyaudio forums...not the diymobileaudio forums. i have no idea why you can't post. pm me and i'll post your question for you if you want.

Oh, I'm not complaining about home speakers in general. I have a beautiful set of JBLs.

But in a car environment, there's no competition. You dont' take home speakers and stick them in your car. Its completely different.
