    amp for my situation?

I have a M-audio rev 5.1 card. I already have one amp for the Sub and without the OEM HU i will need to buy another amp for the speakers.

Can anyone comment on effects of getting a 5 chan Amp but only using 4 chan? wasted? or does the 4 chans that get used get stronger signals?

If 5 chan isnt that way to go, can anyone reccomend a good 4 chan amp.

    Speakers arent all that great,
ADS 235is tweaters and JL XR series woffers

    sub is
    JL 10w3v2 through a JL e1200

    Any advice appreciated.

if all you need is 4 channels than get yourself a nice 4 channel amp...OR you can make your install ALOT cleaner and save some room by using a decent 5 channel amp..4 on your highs and 1 for your sub and just sell the amp you have now. less power wires. less room to worry about all wires will go to one place and power from that spot..good luck!

the 650.6 refrence series is a bad *** mofo...

at the place i work at, we did a silverado with the 650.6 and mb quart premiums 6.5's in the front, discus 6.5's in the rear, all seperates, with 4 p2 10's and that **** just pounded!

if any one needs a place to buy some zapco products, check out our website, www.sound-solutionz.com

    im not sure....

i listed my speaker set up... and they arent overly audiophilic speakers

i dont want the whole street to hear me but i dont mind bumping it for those 4am clear highway 90+ mph karoke sessions

Oh, Well I'm too lazy to look those part numbers up and find their wattage.
