I have only tested it with analog inputs... So far Its not bad at all. I haven't recieved my IR remote for the amp yet to switch to toslink connection. You can't get sound out of the center channel unless you have a remote, too. Well forth around $300 for the amp, I think.

Does the amp have preouts? So I can output the sub signal to my sub amp?
If not how would you link it to the sub?

I can't find this amp on there website, and everyone who sells it is majorly price cut. So its this amp going out of production? Is it worth buying?

Not a very clean solution, but you shouldn't loose much quality if it's only for the sub channel...

Not neccessary, the amp has 2 AUX RCA outputs to go to a sub amp. The amp has way to many functions for a car amp, because its also has a decoder built in for dolby, dts and surround processing. You might need an LCD to programm it (it has a coax RCA video output also for a connection to a monitor).

For me there is plenty of power for it to push some high end speakers and a 12" sub. The amp is 2 Ohm stable. All my speakers are 2 Ohm, including the sub, so they sound really loud, you just have to use thick cables.

Not bad at all, its just you have to feed the amp the digital signal and the decoder in the amp will maximize Signal to noise ratio, since the input is pure digital.

I went ahead and bought this thing ... finally took the plunge and bought all my componets (except the TS monitor ..still thinking on that one). I will tell you how the amp works out for me. I'm gonna be running it off of the on board S/PDIF of teh SP13000 so I'll tell you how it goes bimmerpc. Check out my Work log when I set it up next week some time. I'm probably going to do a very in depth work log..... just cuz!

Everything digital is contolled from the remote which comes with it, you need to connect it to your screen using coaxial RCA, so u can see all the settings on the monitor, just like setting up the VCR or DVD player.
