Has any one used Performance Teknique ICBM 5.1 amp?

"bimmerpc" if you haven't already received your unit, it may be worthwhile to be proactive on this and place your own query to the vender - confirming in fact that the unit is new, that it has the original owners manual and paperwork and does come with it's prescribed remote control and reciever. Did everyone here order from the same place as me?
It would be nice to see updates from you guys. If not to help future potential buyers from these venders.

Well actually I have not recieved anything, they did take money from my visa account but then replied that they dont take international visa cards. My bank says I will have the money back IF the store doesnt REALLY state that they want the money since this was an unfinished deal. They replied I could pay with paypal and I did that with extra money, then they replied they dont ship to unconfirmed paypal adresses. My swedish adress can´t be verified by paypal since they at the moment only verify UK and US adresses.
So.... I might just leave this damn amp alone since it already have caused me some p.i.t.a... If I had gone to a local store buying the alpine dts amp I would have gotten it 2 weeks ago...

LOL, I had nearly the same situation happen to me. My bank actually interupted the possible transfer of funds by a phone call to me withing minutes of the potential transfer just to confirm the transaction was valid. As it was, they too could not accept a VISA paymnet from an international card. They later sent me a PayPal addy to send the money that way. I'm not sure if I have a verified address but Canada's financial and PayPal mechanisms are so much alike I couldn't see that being a show stopper. As it was, the PayPal went through OK and the items didn't leave their warehouse til more than a week later. I believe that was because the ICBM wasn't currently in stock and they had to dig one up somewhere. That's probably wherein the problem lies - the external source to them for the ICBM 5.1. I can understand your apparent dissatisfaction. I'm not sure if you want to try here instead - http://csexpo.stores.yahoo.net/icpete51hipo.html since they apparently don't have the best reputation either. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Sorry that store csexpo is a no-no-no! I did send them a mail 5 weeks ago, no response.. I live in sweden, I´m not gonna take my little air cushion and swim across the ocean just because I got in a dispute with some not-being-able-to-talk-to-customers-shop

I have phoned them internationally several times about the payment. You just have to make sure that You type the are code correctly depending on from where You are calling

Phoned them?? I couldn't even see a phone number on the Performance Teknique site. Is that the phone number you're refering to or the number of the vender? I could use the email and ph # of Performance Teknique.

My anger level has just gone through the roof. I recieved my second amp today from techronics.com and again it has arrived with no remote or ir reciever. The best part is what a sucker I was and what a bunch of jerks techronics is. They called me and said the retail box was damaged and that the amp would be coming in a white box. This is exactly how my first amp without the reciever and remote came so I was cautious. I specifically asked the guy on teh phone if the remote and reciever were in the box and he said yes. So I said fine send it. Not only that but the amp from techronics was $100 more expensive. It seems you can trust absolutlely noone in the car audio industry in california. The fact that this has happened to me twice and that I get hit for the shipping every time to send it back is incredible and I would advise anyone to just stay away from this amp all together.
