Oh yeh, is this even a "graphic" eq? I thought to be a "graphic eq" you have to have a LCD display of sort. This to me is just a normal EQ. But I guess I could be wrong at how I define "graphic".
so what if it's old, it's fun to see if you can get stuff like that working

Yeh, it would be interesting. It just looks like the EQ sits between the headunit and the amp. And I bet its too old to even have a digital busOriginally Posted by jcdillin

This Equalizer is definitely graphic.
A graphic equalizer is one that allows the user to see graphically and control each frequency band. In other words there are multiple filters focused on different points equally spaced across the frequency spectrum. The graphic part just describes the interface - usually sliders - that allow the user to actually "see" the adjustments that are made.
I might be able to get some information for you on this unit as my father is a Toyota Master Technician. He has electrical diagram books for many Toyota and Lexus models. It would be easier if I knew which model it was, but I'll see what I can find.

The thing is kind of graphic - it is mechanically graphic. it doenst have a fancy LED display but you can still see the frequency levels
'old school cool' i say - mount it in you dash!
actually i have to say it look horrible, hide it if you use it!![]()
Ok. I guess I always assumed that to be a "graphic" eq, it has to have graphicsOriginally Posted by walky_talky20

Can you ask your dad about the wiring diagrams for the stock AMPs for a 1995 Lexus SC300 w/o Nakamichi system. Antenna extend wire would also help. I'm still debating weather to get rid of the stock amps.![]()
haha i knew you would ask that! Walky talky - Boris has you now!!!!Originally Posted by 0l33l
