Isolator
Hi,
I am using a inverter what is the best way to eliminate audio noise.
Just was wondering what the most of you do to eliminate noise in the Carputer assuming it is because of using a inverter.
Seems like what I have to do is have 5 seperate grounds attached to the case and the computer power supply. That eliminates about 98-99% of the noise but was wondering if there is a better way of doing this insted of having all the extra wires attached to the Carputer. 1 or 2 larger gauge wires does not help either. seems like it wants the 5 seperate wires. (4 14ga and 1 4ga wire).
any suggestions to use less wires?
Thanks
Michael
Not sure if it works but depending on the size of the ground wires you may want to get some bigger ones. Also people have suggested grounding them all to the same point and grounding the actual inverter case.
