    Home brew CD-RB10...

Ive made my own Pioneer input adapter following the guides found on here.
It works fine and is plenty loud unlike the problems some mentioned.
Problem for me is there is absolutley no bass at all.
Ive checked all the settings on my headunit (Pioneer Deh-7300) and their all fine.
    Any ideas?

i have the cd rb10. it was only like 25 or 30 bucks. i get excellent sound out of mine. how much did it cost to make? check your wiring. maybe one of your rcas is loose. it happened to me once. it was loose highs worked and subs didnt. i tightened up the rca and pushed it all the way in and BAM subs came back on. BTW if it isnt a wiring problem just buy a used rb10. ull save urself a headache.

If you go down to the woods today, You're sure of
Make sure you haven't crosswired one of the plugs. Ie made the gnd the signal and the signal the grd.

If you have doen this on one of the plugs then that channel will be pushing while the other is pulling and vice versa, which means they will counteract each other and hence less bass.

move the balance to one channel only and see if there is more bass.
