    Corolla OEM Radio audio input

    Hi,
I'm finishing my car pc and I'm looking for a way to input the audio to my stock radio. I was thinking about FM modulators.. but after a bit of search, I found they weren't giving a really good sound quality.

I found several audio input interfaces on the web that I could hook up to my stock radio, like this one:

    http://www.crutchfield.com/S-afUEFfM...asp?I=581DFTOY

I don't have any CD Changer in my Corolla (2005 model); if I plug this in the radio, how can I switch between CD, Radio or input ??

    Thanks!

Here is a picture of my stock radio:

I've heard if you open up the unit you should be able to see where the cd player interfaces to the amp. Therefore you might be able to connect to this input and use it. Not too sure on this though, I take no responsibility if you screw up the headunit!

This is what he is talking about.
Yes I did that on my 04 Matrix. Oh yeah, the radio is NOT the same as yours Corolla (05 Matrix radio is the same).
    no name FM modulator....

There may be another option. Took the radio out to see if there is an extra port on the back. If there is one, you probably can use it with an adapter. Lookup some audio website (xmfan, PEI, autotoys, .... ) to see if they have an adapter for your radio.

    Hi again,
I saw another one similar to the first one posted; here is the link: http://shop.store.yahoo.com/logjam/pietoy03aux.html

    Here are the installation instructions:

It looks like the small "rca box" plugs between the original plug to the HU and the HU itself.. so it shouldn't require any other options on the stock head unit, but I'm still not sure

I think that's dependant on whether the head unit has a cd changer input/controls
