if you mount your sub inverted you need to reverve the polarity on the sub.
instead of positive to positive and negative to negative. you need positive to negative and negative to positive

i believe thats called powermounting the sub.. (if pimp my ride has taught me anything) the only time i found it useful was when my friends sub was taller than his truck box. lol he ended up with a 10 inch powermounted armrest.
ok... thats not funny, and I feel that this should qualify for a permanent ban.
thx i hadnt noticed that before. (still a noob to this forums) lol well i dont wanna spam up the thread so anyone have anything to say about our topic? pros and cons of powermounting the sub perhaps? i have to say that i used powermounting only when i had no other option as doing this definitly makes the install look not stock. and if its done wrong it can look down right tacky and sound even worse. but then agian that can happen with any install. if its done right and tuned right it can definitly be a good thing tho.
its not called powermounting... thats some made up nonsense
pimp my ride cant teach u anything other then how to badly advertise a product
