    Bin in to Audio In

I have a Sony Xplod system that came with the truck I just bought. I want to hook up my Ipod, but it only has Bin In. Now I know audio in isn't the same as bin in, but I tried it anyways. No luck. Is there any inexpensive way to convert the audio to work with my system? I have read tutorials about if you have a drive separate from the head unit, but mine is built in.

Haha, Yeah, i've noticed it isn't the best quality. It isn't crap though like the stock one i had in my Camry. The radio will have to wait for now. Got other stuff I have to worry about for now.

And by FM Mod, you mean an FM transmitter right? I have one, but was hoping for a wired solution.

    Is it now?

lol, I'm just playing with you. I'm guessing your headunit doesn't have aux in, and unless you are using amps for both your subs and door speakers, I don't see any other way than using a FM transmitter. If you go with the FM transmitter, make sure you hook it up to the battery or cig lighter because if you just you the batteries on the transmitter, you'll get shatty reception.

This is the transmitter I currently have. Runs on 3volts, so I would have to find a voltage regulator to push it down to 3volts.
Can't find it on their site, but it's model number is CDX-CA700X. Here is a pic of it. It has Xplod speakers behind the seats, and the rest of the speakers are stock. The thing is though, I have no room for a sub, unless I get like a 8/10 inch one. (i'm also looking in to do that).

Now you say they have wired FM transmitters? I didn't know they made that. Where would I get one?

EDIT: Are you talking something like this or this ?

Your head unit doesn't have aux in.

Well it seems like that transmitter has the plug for a car adapter on the bottom, but it doesn't come with the car adapter.

The one I bought is very similiar to yours, but it came with a car adapter:

I got wireless tranmiter and wire modulator and let me tell you that the wire (goes to the radio antenna) is better.

    Just my .2 cents.
