you will most likely need a bose interface. corvette guys have good luck with the 'soundgate' brand/model you could also check out pac-audio

next question is are you going to upgrade your speakers in the future. I'd reccomend doing so, for sound quality, the fact that the bose speakers maynot be able to take the power from a bigger amp, and the fact that those speakers may be 2ohm speaker. You'd only need a bose interface if you were using just a standard aftermarket headunit and keeping the factory speakers. but in the purposes of using a 4 ch amp all you need to do is bypass each amplifier at each speaker.
To do that, yes you can cut off the amp at each set of wires going to the speaker then run those to the new amp. keep in mind the polarity, I think the red wires are the positive side of the speaker. This has to be done for each speaker. So you have to get behind the door skins of each of the front doors. Kinda risky if you haven't done it b4 or have the right tools

If you read what i said, you cant use the bose interface with a 4 channel amp. Its redudant. You'd end up pulling power from the 4 ch and each speaker. the bose interface is only to be used with an aftermarket headunit. If it were ever possible essentially what you'd be doing is increasing the signal with the 4 ch then decreasing it with the interface, then increasing it again. You'd ended up getting garbled sound from so much transition. or you'd end up burning out the interface, or the bose amp, or the 4 ch. on top of that in some cases the bose amps have a built in equilizer that turns out garbled with the interface. Plus if you kept the amp on the front speakers you'd end up being unbalanced with the rears amped and the fronts double amped.

As for bypassing the front speaker's amps, they are inside a housing that is held together by a few bolts, take those off then you can access the speaker. the amps in there work the same way as the rears. After you cut off the amp just combine the same color wire the red wires are your positive and the green wires are your negative line. if i'm correct.
You dont have to listen to what i have to say about this. I mean i've only been installing for about 5 years and i dont have to spoon feed you everything. Ultimately what i would recomend is to scrap the stock amps, and speakers and get new ones. If you even attempt what I think you're gonna try to do, you'll probablly have to do that after you it burn out.

I agree with this part, but i think pancit needs to take a midol.

with the corvette bose system the front door location house the 8" subs and a 3.5" 'twiddler' and the rear has either a 5.25" or 6.5" speakers. the 3.5" and the rear speakers have no bose amp and can be driven by an amplifiier. the sub is what is amped and that is why we need the interface. I am not sure; because i've never used a soundgate adaptor, but if it can take low level inputs you may be able to wire the soundgate to the soundcard and then take advantage of the bose amps for the subs. Then you could get a small amp and power the non-amped speakers (if it is like a c5 corvette bose set up) keep in mind that the impedance of the bose speaker may be 1 or 2 ohms so make sure your amp can handle it. also they can't be driven that hard or they'll distort and fry. one solution would be to swap out the non amped speakers with some nice aftermarket ones (either before or after you fry them ) and keep the rest of the system 'stock' or rip out everything; like i did, and keep it clean with out a bose interface.

now i'm not an installer and this is pretty c5 specific, but if you research your setup you may be able to apply some of these methods to your own car.

The bose systems in those series nissan/Infiniti cars, all of the speakers are individually amped.

ah. well as you said the best thing to do is rip out the bose system.
