audiocontro unit has two RCA input (L-R) and 4 or 6 output (don't remember)
soundblaster usb has an RCA out (mp3+)
I would suggest to not use audiocontrol and go for a multichannel USB or PCI solution and use a software digital crossover
I will be putting the second carputer in my car soon, but need some help in the audio dept.
I am planning on getting the following, Sound Blaster Live USB, and AudioControl EQX or EQS.
What do you suggest as far as these units.
I am planning on have the computer go into the soundcard via USB.
Then from the soundcard to the EQ, but I dont know the outputs of the SoundBlaste. Will the soundblaster give 3 outputs, or 1? Will they be 1/8" into a RCA? Does the EQ need to be 1 RCA input or 3 RCA input, depending on the output of the soundblaster? Thanks

Do you suggest something along the lines of this, Terratec Aureon USB.

It connects into the computer via usb, and had 6 RCA outputs, 3L,3R. Its also a good price, at $56 in the house from a authorized dealer.

it depends on the EQ and xover settings, not all the drivers allow this kind of advanced tweaking

It says minimnum requirements are Pentium III or Athlon 600 MHz, could an EPI motherboard handle such a device?
